About us – Le Village de la Femme

Le Village de la Femme is a Social Enterprise founded with the core belief that Investing in the future of Young African Women through entrepreneurship is a sustainable way of reaching a community’s strong & long term economic development, dignity and resilience.

When Women are socially empowered, knowledgeable and business savvy while enjoying a conducive environment, they are well able to lift themselves out of extreme poverty.

Since 2022, le Village has brought together women entrepreneurs of all walks of life to teach, coach and advise them. It provides them with a platform to discuss opportunities and challenges, to express themselves in creative ways, learn from each other and get the motivation and encouragement they need to continue their course while growing their businesses and taping into larger markets.

Our Philosophy

Le Village believes that Young African Women are able to support themselves and lift their communities out of poverty one business at a time.

Most women lack the ability, confidence and the access to information to decide to start a small business and that is where le Village comes in to not only empower them socially to start their entrepreneurship journey but to give them the tools and know-how. With this, the high rates of unemployment which represent one of the biggest challenges we face on the continent will be addressed in a more sustainable man

Le Village was founded in 2022 and has so far engaged in activities geared towards
economic empowerment and investment of entrepreneurs and start-ups. It has had a
small team of Women that are working towards big goals set to support Women
entrepreneurship.
